ChilliMango is an Afro-Urban streetwear brand that creates iconic designs and turns them into various products that reflect the ever-evolving urban culture in contemporary Kenya. Our designs are a fusion of different elements of African culture with elements from cultures of the world. ChilliMango is therefore a concoction of cultures. We also have a great fixation on the 80’s and 90’s and consequently our designs embody a lot of iconic elements of the time.

ChilliMango features fresh and creative clothing that’s super cozy but bold and unique all handmade with love. Our products include printed designs on tshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, bags and more. We’ve also started exploring Textile Design as we truly believe in the future of textile prints entirely made and designed in Africa.

We also do commercial printing and commissioned design work for different brands/companies. Brands that we’ve worked with include Goethe Institute, Safaricom, BRCK, Africa Yoga Project, iHub, Rift Valley Leather etc.

Why?

We’re passionate about Africa; our stories, diversity, art, culture, music and aesthetic and our mission is to continue sharing these beautiful attributes with the world through our designs. Our designs represent the current conscious youth of Africa; born at the crossroads of ever-changing technology and still always paying homage to tradition and heritage. We believe in reducing the dependency of aid in Africa and a fair access to trade with the world.

Where?

Apart from selling at local markets and festivals, we sell to markets in Germany & Netherlands plus we ship to clients globally.
